Boland Family - Great Lakes Run Foundation

In partnership with Bellin Health

The Boland Family of Green Bay, Wisconsin created the Great Lakes Run Foundation in 2003. Ann Boland, the family’s mother, survived her struggle with breast cancer. The family wanted to do something to help uninsured or underinsured women in Northeast Wisconsin receive free mammograms. The foundation was formed to do just that! Women in Northeast Wisconsin are now receiving free mammograms through this organization.

After completing a trip on personal watercrafts throughout the 5 Great Lakes and covering more than 1,350 miles, the family raised more than $20,000 to help women in our area. However, the need continues, and mammograms, along with after-care procedures are necessary to treat these patients and maintain a healthy, quality life.

With your help, our organization is hoping to prevent and even eliminate cancer deaths among women living in Northeast Wisconsin.
